Governor Hochel has signed a new bill into law modifying the rules that the New York State Education Department will implement when mailing out registrations for licensees for each profession by means other than mail. This new law will require NYSED to mail applications prior to the end date of such registration period.
Under the new law, at least 4 months before your registration period is up SED will send forms to your email, or a hard copy to your address if there is no email on record. 45 days out, if you have not registered yet, they will send a hard copy to your address.
