Biography:

Ms. Pedley received her Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Care from Pima Medical Institute in 2013 and her Master of Public Health from Grand Canyon University in 2022. She currently works for Crouse Health in Syracuse, New York. Ms. Pedley previously served as the Supervisor of Respiratory and Neurophysiology Services, Cardiopulmonary Clinical Specialist Coordinator and presently serves as a staff Respiratory Therapist at Crouse Hospital. She enjoys opportunities to teach future therapists entering the profession when able. Jennifer has been an RT for 26 years and an AARC member for 20 years. She is a Mohawk Valley Community College Advisory Board member and actively participates in the AARC Emerging Leader Program and Care Transition Intervention. She has had opportunities to present at the AARC Open Forum and publish in the AARC Times, Chest, and Canadian Journal for Respiratory Care. My research interests include therapist-driven protocols, COPD education, and quality improvement initiatives. She is currently the Parliamentarian for NYSSRC, has served as the Secretary, and as a committee member of Publications and Society Affairs, Awards and Program. She is currently Co-Chair of Membership Committee and serves as a member on Bylaws and Program Committees.
