The NYSSRC Ad Hoc Committee for Academic Advancement of the Respiratory Care
Profession in NYS continues their work on developing legislation and addressing barriers for entry-level BS in RT in seven (7) years.
The legislation has been drafted as it is currently being finalized.
The committee will now prioritize gaining support for the initiative and addressing barriers for AS and AAS programs.
