The legislative team of the NYSSRC Ad Hoc Committee for Academic Advancement of the Respiratory Care Profession in NY State continues in their efforts. Luckily, the statewide election results allowed for the initiative to retain the same sponsors for our legislative bill (Mangarelli, Gounardes). Kate (legal counsel) is currently working to secure meetings with Glick’s office (Higher Ed) and SED. An AD Hoc Committee meeting will likely be held in Jan / Feb.
